Responsibilities
- Process complex transactions including deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and currency exchanges
- Build and maintain deep client relationships through personalized financial consultations
- Resolve account discrepancies and investigate fraud with meticulous attention to detail
- Actively cross-sell banking products (loans, credit cards, investment options) to meet client needs
- Train junior tellers on operational procedures and regulatory compliance standards
- Operate advanced banking systems and digital platforms with 100% accuracy
- Uphold strict security protocols and anti-money laundering regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of high-volume bank teller experience in commercial banking
- Proven ability to process 100+ daily transactions with zero discrepancies
- New York State banking license (required)
- Expertise in FINRA regulations and BSA/AML compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Fiserv and Jack Henry banking platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- Exceptional conflict resolution and cross-cultural communication skills
- FINRA Series 6/63 certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
