The Role
In this pivotal role, you will manage the full cycle of accounts payable, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment authorization.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Manage the month-end close process for the AP general ledger account.
- Utilize ERP software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle) to track payment status and vendor data.
- Assist in the implementation of AP automation tools to streamline workflows.
- Maintain accurate vendor master files and tax documentation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with ERP systems and AP automation software is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
