Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed and reconciled correctly.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and variance analysis to identify financial trends and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity in our ERP systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Proven experience with financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
