Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable/receivable processes
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for DC-based entities
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with tax teams for quarterly and annual filings
- Maintain GAAP-compliant financial records using NetSuite
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of DC tax regulations and federal compliance
- Experience with multi-state accounting operations
- Certification in QuickBooks Online or NetSuite
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
