Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Lead audit preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Provide strategic financial guidance to clients on tax planning and compliance
- Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure adherence to GAAP standards
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and accounting software for data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public practice or corporate environment
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel modeling
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing audits and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication skills for client relationship management
- Proven leadership experience in mentoring accounting teams
