Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of all financial records.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely billing and vendor payments.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Conduct internal audits and financial reviews to identify risks and ensure compliance.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns with full compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial reporting and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
