Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FLSA, WA labor laws)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with precision
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly tax filings
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies within SLA
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Generate payroll reports for executive team and auditors
- Maintain confidential employee records in HRIS system
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with ADP/Workforce Now
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of multi-state payroll compliance (WA, OR, CA)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Proven problem-solving abilities with payroll discrepancies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday experience a plus)
