Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit recommendations with clear risk mitigation strategies
- Manage loan portfolios exceeding $50M in exposure with proactive monitoring
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure complex credit solutions
- Develop financial models and stress tests for scenario analysis
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations and internal credit policies
- Present findings to senior leadership through data-driven reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, financial modeling)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB preferred) or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and lending regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience with credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
