Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries, explaining financial products, and identifying cross-sell opportunities
- Maintain strict compliance with banking regulations, security protocols, and anti-money laundering procedures
- Balance cash drawers daily and reconcile discrepancies within established timeframes
- Actively promote digital banking solutions to enhance customer self-service capabilities
- Collaborate with branch team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
- Participate in community outreach events to strengthen local relationships
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of cash handling or customer service experience in a financial institution preferred
- Proficient with basic arithmetic and financial transaction software
- Strong attention to detail with proven ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
- Valid NJ driver's license and ability to pass background check/fingerprinting
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
