Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns using ProSystem fx and Lacerte software
- Conduct tax research and planning for high-net-worth clients and small businesses
- Manage IRS correspondence and resolve audit inquiries efficiently
- Develop tax optimization strategies for real estate and investment portfolios
- Maintain compliance with state and federal tax regulations
- Collaborate with audit team on multi-year tax projections
- Train junior staff on tax software updates and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of tax preparation experience with Big 4 or regional firm
- Advanced proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess)
- Strong understanding of IRS Form 1040, 1120, and partnership taxation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Florida CPA license or actively pursuing certification
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
