Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple states using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax compliance (federal, state, local)
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries within SLAs
- Generate payroll reports and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, ACA, and state labor regulations
- Assist in year-end processing and W-2 distribution
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HCM systems
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, tax laws, and payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and macros
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with garnishment processing and wage attachments
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
