Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Manage tax filings, garnishments, and deductions according to federal/state regulations
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in payroll data
- Maintain confidential employee records and ensure compliance with FLSA requirements
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding processes and timekeeping systems
- Generate payroll reports for internal stakeholders and external audits
- Stay updated on payroll legislation changes and implement necessary adjustments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks Payroll)
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
