In this role, you will manage the full cycle of payroll processing, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will collaborate with the HR department to maintain accurate records and provide exceptional support to our staff regarding payroll inquiries.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll processing cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Review and verify timekeeping data, reconciling discrepancies between timesheets and payroll records.
- Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, garnishments, and benefits contributions.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, tax forms, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and file monthly and quarterly payroll tax reports with state and federal agencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS (e.g., ADP, Workday).
- Assist with year-end payroll tax filings and W-2 generation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or a related administrative role.
- Proficiency with payroll software (ADP, Paylocity, or BambooHR) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, ERISA, and Oregon wage and hour laws.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect errors before processing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
