Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now for exempt/non-exempt employees
- Calculate and garnish deductions (401k, health premiums, wage attachments)
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts monthly
- Prepare and file federal/state payroll tax forms (941, DE-6, etc.)
- Respond to payroll inquiries within SLA via HRIS portal
- Conduct new hire setup in payroll system with I-9/W-4 verification
- Audit time and attendance records for compliance with FLSA
- Generate payroll reports for executive team and auditors
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with ADP/Workforce Now
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and QuickBooks Online
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of CA wage/hour laws and multi-state payroll rules
- BS in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Proven experience with garnishment processing and tax filings
- Ability to maintain 100% confidentiality in sensitive financial matters
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
