Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wages for tax withholdings, deductions, and benefits
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with bank statements
- Generate and distribute payroll reports for management and auditors
- Maintain confidential employee records and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve employee issues within 24 hours
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and termination processing
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with ADP or similar systems
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, CA labor laws, and tax regulations
- Proven ability to handle confidential data with discretion
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
