Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 500+ healthcare providers
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials with 95%+ accuracy
- Optimize charge entry and payment posting workflows
- Conduct monthly revenue cycle audits and compliance reviews
- Collaborate with collections team on overdue account resolution
- Train junior staff on billing software best practices
- Generate monthly revenue reports for executive leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in California
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) designation required
- Expertise in Epic, Meditech, and NextGen billing systems
- Advanced knowledge of CMS-1500 and UB-04 forms
- Proven track record of reducing AR days by 20%+
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-volume settings
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
