Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for healthcare clients ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Analyze claim denials and implement corrective actions to reduce rejection rates
- Collaborate with insurance companies to verify coverage and secure timely reimbursements
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare billing regulations
- Generate monthly billing reports and performance analytics for leadership review
- Train junior staff on billing software and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in Epic, Meditech, or similar EMR/billing software
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and CMS guidelines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience with revenue cycle management and denial analysis
