Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve billing discrepancies
- Ensure HIPAA and CMS compliance in all billing operations
- Collaborate with insurance providers for claim adjustments
- Generate monthly billing reports for leadership review
- Train staff on billing protocols and software updates
- Conduct patient billing consultations and payment plans
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience required
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification preferred
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Expert knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding standards
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage high-volume claims processing
- Experience with third-party payer negotiations
- High school diploma; associate degree preferred
