Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing operations including invoice generation, payment processing, and reconciliation
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and customer inquiries with exceptional communication skills
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize billing workflows and compliance
- Analyze billing data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Maintain accurate financial records using SAP and Excel systems
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA/GDPR billing regulations and internal controls
- Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting
Qualifications
- 3+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience in a healthcare or finance environment
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Medisoft, Epic) and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- Certification in Medical Billing (CPC) or Finance (MBA/CMA) preferred
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
- Experience with ERP systems and electronic payment processing
