Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes with advanced reconciliation techniques
- Develop and implement internal controls to optimize financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Utilize ERP systems (Sage 100 preferred) for real-time financial reporting
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA strongly preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in full-cycle accounting
- Expertise in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with daily pay platforms or similar fintech solutions
