Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 98% accuracy within 24-hour turnaround
- Manage patient billing inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies
- Conduct monthly audits of billing systems to ensure HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with coding teams to verify CPT/ICD-10 alignment
- Generate monthly revenue reports for executive leadership
- Train staff on billing software updates and procedural changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with knowledge of UB-04 and CMS-1500 forms
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent credential preferred
- Expertise in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with pivot table experience
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-volume environments
