We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our growing finance team in Arlington, TX. Responsibilities
- Process Payroll: Accurately calculate and process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using ADP or similar systems.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local laws, including FLSA and tax regulations.
- Employee Support: Handle payroll-related inquiries from staff regarding pay stubs, tax forms, and deductions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, tax forms (W-2s, W-4s), and timekeeping data.
- Reporting: Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for management and audit purposes.
- Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or errors promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar accounting role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to perform high-volume data entry with zero errors.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff and management.
- Time Management: Ability to meet strict deadlines during payroll cycles.
