Responsibilities
- Calculate and process payroll for all employees accurately and on a timely basis.
- Review and verify timecards, timesheets, and leave requests for discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute pay statements and tax documents (W-2s, 1099s).
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial and personnel data.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual payroll tax filings.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay and deductions in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or Workday) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of federal and state payroll laws and regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
