Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees
- Calculate and garnish wage deductions, bonuses, and commissions
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax laws (FICA, FUTA, etc.)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly tax filings
- Maintain accurate employee records in ADP Workforce Now
- Respond to payroll inquiries with exceptional client service
- Audit timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP, Paychex, or similar payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, IRS, and DOL regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- CPP certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
