Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, OR-OTC)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings (941s, 940s, state unemployment)
- Administer benefits enrollments, deductions, and reconcile 401(k) contributions
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Generate payroll reports for finance leadership and HR analytics
- Respond to payroll inquiries from employees with exceptional service
- Collaborate on system upgrades and process improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or equivalent HCM system
- Expert knowledge of federal and Oregon payroll tax laws
- Proven experience with garnishment processing and wage attachments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (<0.1% error tolerance)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and payroll reporting tools
