Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify and reconcile time records, deductions, and tax withholdings
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports for internal/external stakeholders
- Manage garnishments, benefits deductions, and 401(k) contributions
- Ensure compliance with federal/state payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, MD tax codes)
- Respond to payroll inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and benefit changes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with ADP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and labor laws
- Detail-oriented with 99.9% accuracy in data entry
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- SHRM or APA certification preferred
