Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using [Software Name], ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance with FLSA regulations.
- Verify and reconcile timekeeping data, including overtime calculations, shift differentials, and manual time cards.
- Prepare and distribute accurate payroll reports to management and HR departments.
- Assist with year-end tax filings, W-2 form generation, and 1099 processing.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and promptly answer employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, deductions, and tax information.
- Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the Benefits team to ensure deductions for insurance and retirement plans are processed correctly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience in payroll processing or a related administrative role.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks Payroll) is highly desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting) are required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive financial data with discretion and integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
