Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify and reconcile time records with HRIS data for accuracy
- Prepare and submit federal, state, and local tax filings
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and union dues with precision
- Generate payroll reports for auditors and executive leadership
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, IRS, and Maryland state regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP, QuickBooks, or similar payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of federal/state payroll tax laws
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
