Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare financial statements for review.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records and documents.
- Prepare and send invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and Excel spreadsheet functions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to detect errors quickly.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the finance team.
