Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.Process and categorize invoices and expenses using QuickBooks or Xero.Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.Assist with payroll processing and preparation of quarterly tax filings.Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval.Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and financial status.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (1-2 years minimum).Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.Professional demeanor with strong verbal and written communication skills.
