Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and send monthly invoices to clients and ensure timely payment collection.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and perform month-end close procedures.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax document preparation (1099s/W-2s).
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax packages for external accountants.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred).
