Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) with 100% accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial close processes.
- Process vendor payments and client invoicing via QuickBooks or Xero.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems for tax documents.
- Stay updated on New York State tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with Payroll processing and sales tax filings is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
- Must be located in or willing to commute to the New York area.
