Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple client accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports.
- Process payroll for small business clients using QuickBooks.
- Ensure accurate filing of tax documents and local compliance requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online (Xero experience is a plus).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
