Responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process weekly and monthly payroll for multiple clients using ADP or QuickBooks Payroll.
  • Prepare and send out invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly to identify discrepancies.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and tax packages.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial statements and account inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a small business or agency setting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
