Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system using QuickBooks or similar software.
- Process payroll support and prepare necessary tax documentation.
- Organize and file financial records and receipts for audit purposes.
- Assist senior accountants with various ad-hoc financial projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
