Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable process.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and credit card settlements.
- Process payroll for night shift associates accurately and on time.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company financial policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration.
- Proven proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors under pressure.
