Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process and invoice bills, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and tax documents for our clients.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain up-to-date ledgers.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote or hybrid setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or CPA preferred.
