Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices efficiently.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation filings where required.
- Ensure all financial documentation complies with relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial support role (1-2 years minimum).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
