Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions and ensure accurate recording of income and expenses.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data consistency.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and perform monthly financial reporting.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for tax documents and receipts.
- Assist with basic payroll processing and tax document preparation as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles.
