Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Process payroll for our small team and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
- Prepare basic tax documents and assist the senior accountant during tax season.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or FreshBooks.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
