The Opportunity: We seek a meticulous Part-Time Accountant to support our growing client base. This 20-hour/week position offers flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable for diverse client portfolios
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax compliance
- Prepare month-end closing reports and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries in QuickBooks Online
- Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis
- Coordinate with auditors during annual reviews
- Implement internal controls to safeguard assets
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with payroll processing (ADP/QuickBooks Payroll)
- Strong GAAP knowledge and tax compliance experience
- Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
