Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Manage the accounts payable system (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to ensure timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Prepare monthly reports and assist with month-end close procedures as needed.
- Maintain and organize a well-structured filing system, both digital and physical, for all financial documents.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related financial roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience in the [Industry, e.g., Tech/SaaS] sector is preferred.
