Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and monthly financial statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation (1099s and W2s).
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial transactions into accounting software.
- Support the finance team with budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Gusto, etc.) is preferred.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
