Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support client decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CPA-track strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in a professional services environment
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP principles and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Proactive problem-solving approach and ability to meet tight deadlines
