Responsibilities
- Financial Processing: Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification, data entry, and payment execution.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and nightly financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring timely delivery to management.
- Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits, maintaining strict adherence to GAAP and internal controls.
- Payroll: Process and review payroll data for accuracy, ensuring all deductions and taxes are calculated correctly.
- Compliance: Monitor compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations regarding financial reporting and record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with specific experience in night shift environments preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of accuracy in high-volume data processing.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM).
