Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, coding, and authorization.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for AP documents.
- Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting preparation.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Monitor expense accounts and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
