Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Manage and maintain general ledger accounts using QuickBooks and Xero.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and preparation of financial reports.
- Prepare and file necessary tax documents and sales tax returns.
- Organize and archive financial records and receipts.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online and Xero preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
