We are looking for a self-starter who can manage the full cycle of accounting functions independently during the night shift.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and internal reports.
- Review and audit invoices for accuracy, compliance, and proper authorization.
- Support the Payroll team by reconciling payroll data and processing necessary adjustments.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring data integrity and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare necessary tax filings and reconcile tax accounts as required by state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience (night shift experience preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a significant plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and high accuracy.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with the day-shift leadership team.
