Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.9% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L and balance sheets
- Manage payroll processing for 15-20 small business clients
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and documentation
- Implement QuickBooks solutions for new client onboarding
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or QuickBooks certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)
- Experience with payroll processing (ADP/Paychell preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
