Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with precision and timeliness
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Manage payroll processing for 15-20 employees
- Assist with quarterly sales tax filings and year-end audits
- Implement QuickBooks cloud solutions for clients
- Provide financial insights to business owners
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
